Malacañang has officially declared May 27, 2026 (Wednesday) a nationwide regular holiday in observance of Eid’l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice, one of the most significant celebrations in Islam.

The declaration was made through Proclamation No. 1264, following the recommendation of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) in accordance with the 1447 Hijrah Islamic Lunar Calendar.
